One evening last June, I put down my Hare Krishna beads and logged on to the Internet. I held my breath as I saw news of a life-or-death drama unfolding on the high seas: five men locked in a small vessel lost somewhere underwater in the North Atlantic.
\u6700\u8fd1\u516d\u2f49\u7684\u2f00\u4e2a\u665a\u4e0a\uff0c\u6211\u653e\u4e0b\u6211\u7684\u54c8\u745e\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u5ff5\u73e0\uff0c\u767b\u5f55\u4e86\u4e92\u8054\u2f79\u3002\u5f53\u6211\u770b\u5230\u2f00\u5219\u5728\u516c\u6d77\u4e0a\u6b63\u5728\u4e0a\u6f14\u7684\u2f00\u573a\u2f63\u6b7b\u2f24\u620f\u7684\u65b0\u95fb\u65f6\uff0c\u6211\u5c4f\u4f4f\u4e86\u547c\u5438\uff1a\u4e94\u4e2a\u2f08\u88ab\u56f0\u5728\u2f00\u8258\u2f29\u8239\u2fa5\uff0c\u5728\u5317\u2f24\u897f\u6d0b\u7684\u2f54\u4e0b\u67d0\u5904\u5931\u8e2a\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No\u00a0 time to waste. Their oxygen supply was dwindling.
\u6ca1\u6709\u65f6\u95f4\u53ef\u4ee5\u6d6a\u8d39\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u6c27\u2f53\u4f9b\u5e94\u6b63\u5728\u51cf\u5c11\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A regular ship had towed the vessel, named the Titan, to a spot off the coast of Newfoundland, where it would descend to the ocean floor.
\u2f00\u8258\u666e\u901a\u8239\u53ea\u5c06\u8fd9\u8258\u540d\u4e3a\u6cf0\u5766\u53f7\u7684\u6f5c\u2f54\u5668\u62d6\u5230\u7ebd\u82ac\u5170\u6d77\u5cb8\u7684\u2f00\u4e2a\u5730\u2f45\uff0c\u5728\u90a3\u2fa5\u5b83\u5c06\u6f5c\u2f0a\u6d77\u5e95\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why? To view the wreck of the Titanic.
\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u662f\u8981\u53bb\u770b\u6cf0\u5766\u5c3c\u514b\u53f7\u7684\u6b8b\u9ab8\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But towing the Titan, smaller than a submarine, across the rough waters of the Atlantic instead of carrying it on deck may have weakened the hull. But the mission would go ahead. And besides, \u00a0the builder had ignored safety protocols anyway, for the sake of \u201cinnovative\u201d construction. \u00a0He even bragged about it.
\u4f46\u662f\u62d6\u7740\u2f50\u6f5c\u8247\u8fd8\u2f29\u7684\u6cf0\u5766\u53f7\u7a7f\u8fc7\u2f24\u897f\u6d0b\u6c79\u6d8c\u7684\u2f54\u57df\uff0c\u2f7d\u4e0d\u662f\u628a\u5b83\u653e\u5728\u7532\u677f\u4e0a\uff0c\u53ef\u80fd\u4f1a\u524a\u5f31\u8239\u4f53\u3002\u4f46\u662f\u4efb\u52a1\u4f1a\u7ee7\u7eed\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u201c\u521b\u65b0\u201d\u7684\u6784\u5efa\uff0c\u5efa\u9020\u5546\u5df2\u7ecf\u5ffd\u7565\u4e86\u5b89\u5168\u534f\u8bae\u3002\u4ed6\u751a\u2f84\u5439\u5618\u8fd9\u4ef6\u4e8b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ship\u2019s crew bolted the five passengers\u2014the pilot, a French Titanic expert, a British businessman, and a Pakistani father and son\u2014into the Titan. They would have no means of escape in an emergency. And for a good reason.
\u8239\u4e0a\u7684\u8239\u5458\u5c06\u4e94\u540d\u4e58\u5ba2\u2014\u2014\u9a7e\u9a76\u5458\u3001\u2f00\u540d\u6cd5\u56fd\u6cf0\u5766\u5c3c\u514b\u53f7\u4e13\u5bb6\u3001\u2f00\u540d\u82f1\u56fd\u5546\u2f08\u548c\u2f00\u5bf9\u5df4\u57fa\u65af\u5766\u2f57\u2f26\u2014\u2014\u9501\u8fdb\u4e86\u6cf0\u5766\u53f7\u3002\u5728\u7d27\u6025\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u6ca1\u6709\u9003\u2f63\u7684\u9014\u5f84\u3002\u2f7d\u4e14\u7406\u7531\u5f88\u5145\u5206\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deep under the surface, the intense water pressure would crush to death anyone who managed to get out.
\u5728\u6df1\u6d77\u2fa5\uff0c\u5f3a\u2f24\u7684\u2f54\u538b\u4f1a\u538b\u6b7b\u4efb\u4f55\u8bbe\u6cd5\u9003\u51fa\u6765\u7684\u2f08\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat then dropped the Titan into the ocean. The descent would take a few hours. But after an hour and a half, the ship lost contact with the Titan. Had the electricity gone out? Then the pilot should have brought the craft to the surface. Why hadn\u2019t he?
\u7136\u540e\uff0c\u8fd9\u8258\u8239\u5c06\u6cf0\u5766\u53f7\u4e22\u8fdb\u4e86\u2f24\u6d77\u3002\u4e0b\u6f5c\u9700\u8981\u2f0f\u4e2a\u2f29\u65f6\u3002\u4f46\u662f\u2f00\u4e2a\u534a\u2f29\u65f6\u540e\uff0c\u6f5c\u2f54\u5668\u4e0e\u6cf0\u5766\u53f7\u5931\u53bb\u4e86\u8054\u7cfb\u3002\u505c\u7535\u4e86\u5417\uff1f\u90a3\u4e48\u9a7e\u9a76\u5458\u5e94\u8be5\u5df2\u7ecf\u628a\u6f5c\u2f54\u5668\u5e26\u5230\u2f54\u2faf\u4e0a\u4e86\u3002\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u6ca1\u6709\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A search-and-rescue operation began. Airplanes scoured the ocean\u2019s surface. Sonar buoys listened for sounds of the vessel. Underwater robots searched the sea floor.
\u641c\u6551\u2f8f\u52a8\u5f00\u59cb\u4e86\u3002\u98de\u673a\u641c\u7d22\u6d77\u2faf\u3002\u58f0\u7eb3\u6d6e\u6807\u76d1\u542c\u8239\u53ea\u7684\u58f0\u2fb3\u3002\u2f54\u4e0b\u673a\u5668\u2f08\u641c\u7d22\u6d77\u5e95\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6ca1\u6709\u7ebf\u7d22\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An underwater robot found pieces of the Titan scattered on the ocean floor. The \u201cinnovative\u201d hull had succumbed to the extreme water pressure of the ocean\u2019s depths. And the vessel imploded, killing all five passengers.
\u2f00\u4e2a\u2f54\u4e0b\u673a\u5668\u2f08\u53d1\u73b0\u4e86\u6563\u843d\u5728\u6d77\u5e95\u7684\u6cf0\u5766\u53f7\u6b8b\u9ab8\u3002\u201c\u521b\u65b0\u201d\u7684\u8239\u4f53\u5df2\u7ecf\u5c48\u670d\u4e8e\u6d77\u6d0b\u6df1\u5904\u7684\u6781\u7aef\u2f54\u538b\u3002\u6f5c\u2f54\u5668\u88ab\u538b\u7206\uff0c\u4e94\u540d\u4e58\u5ba2\u5168\u90e8\u9047\u96be\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some experts suggest the passengers may have had forty-eight seconds of warning. That would mean forty-eight seconds of terror in the thick black darkness of the ocean depths.
\u2f00\u4e9b\u4e13\u5bb6\u8ba4\u4e3a\uff0c\u4e58\u5ba2\u53ef\u80fd\u5f97\u5230\u4e86 48 \u79d2\u7684\u8b66\u544a\u3002\u90a3\u5c06\u610f\u5473\u7740\u5728\u6d77\u6d0b\u6df1\u5904\u7684\u2fca\u6697\u4e2d\u7684\u56db\u2f17\u2f0b\u79d2\u7684\u6050\u6016\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, I cannot stop wondering, What were their last thoughts? In the Bhagavad-Gita, Krishna tells us the importance of our final thoughts:
\u6211\u4e0d\u7981\u60f3\u77e5\u9053\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u6700\u540e\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u5728\u300a\u535a\u4f3d\u68b5\u6b4c\u300b\u4e2d\uff0c\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u544a\u8bc9\u6211\u4eec\u6700\u540e\u60f3\u6cd5\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, O son of Kunti, that state he will attain without fail. (8.6)
\u2f08\u5728\u79bb\u5f00\u73b0\u4e16\u7684\u8eaf\u4f53\u65f6\uff0c\u2f46\u8bba\u60f3\u7740\u54ea\u6837\u7684\u60c5\u666f\uff0c\u7428\u7f07\u4e4b\u2f26\u554a\uff0c\u5728\u4e0b\u2f00\u4e16\uff0c\u4ed6\u5fc5\u80fd\u5230\u8fbe\u90a3\u6837\u7684\u5883\u754c\u3002(8.6)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Well, I\u2019ll never know. But at least I know the importance of the final thought.
\u597d\u5427\uff0c\u6211\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e5f\u4e0d\u4f1a\u77e5\u9053\u3002\u4f46\u2f84\u5c11\u6211\u77e5\u9053\u6700\u7ec8\u60f3\u6cd5\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The implosion would have taken just a few thousandths of a second, not even enough time for the brain to register any sensory impressions. They never knew what hit them. At least not until after they died.
\u5185\u7206\u53ea\u9700\u8981\u4e07\u5206\u4e4b\u2f0f\u79d2\uff0c\u751a\u2f84\u4e0d\u2f9c\u4ee5\u8ba9\u2f24\u8111\u8bb0\u5f55\u4e0b\u4efb\u4f55\u611f\u5b98\u5370\u8c61\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\u88ad\u51fb\u4e86\u4ed6\u4eec\u3002\u8d77\u7801\u5728\u4ed6\u4eec\u6b7b\u4ea1\u4e4b\u540e\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They paid a lot of money for their underwater death. The French Titanic expert and the British businessman each paid $250,000, a quarter of a million dollars. The Pakistani paid half a million for the privilege of dying with his nineteen-year-old son.
\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u2f54\u4e0b\u6b7b\u4ea1\u4ed8\u4e86\u5f88\u591a\u94b1\u3002\u6cd5\u56fd\u6cf0\u5766\u5c3c\u514b\u53f7\u4e13\u5bb6\u548c\u82f1\u56fd\u5546\u2f08\u5404\u2f40\u4ed8\u4e86 25 \u4e07\u7f8e\u5143\uff0c\u5373\u767e\u4e07\u7f8e\u5143\u7684\u56db\u5206\u4e4b\u2f00\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5df4\u57fa\u65af\u5766\u2f08\u2f40\u4ed8\u4e86 50 \u4e07\u7f8e\u5143\u6765\u6362\u53d6\u548c\u4ed6 19 \u5c81\u7684\u2f09\u2f26\u2f00\u8d77\u6b7b\u53bb\u7684\u7279\u6743\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the pilot? As the CEO of SeaGate, the company that built the vessel, he paid\u00a0 with his life for \u00a0his \u201cinnovations\u201d and his disregard for safety. Well, everything has its price.
\u9a7e\u9a76\u5458\u5462\uff1f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5236\u9020\u8be5\u8239\u7684\u6d77\u95e8\u516c\u53f8\u7684\u2fb8\u5e2d\u6267\u2f8f\u5b98\uff0c\u4ed6\u4e3a\u2f83\u2f30\u7684\u201c\u521b\u65b0\u201d\u548c\u5bf9\u5b89\u5168\u7684\u6f20\u89c6\u4ed8\u51fa\u4e86\u2f63\u547d\u3002\u4efb\u4f55\u4e1c\u897f\u90fd\u6709\u5b83\u7684\u4ee3\u4ef7\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, they paid a lot to die. \u00a0Well, \u00a0as the old saying goes, you can\u2019t pay your way into heaven.
\u662f\u7684\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e3a\u6b7b\u4ea1\u4ed8\u51fa\u4e86\u5f88\u591a\u3002\u5c31\u50cf\u90a3\u53e5\u2f7c\u8bdd\u8bf4\u7684\uff0c\u4f60\u4e0d\u80fd\u901a\u8fc7\u4ed8\u94b1\u53bb\u5929\u5802\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what if you could?
\u4f46\u662f\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u53ef\u4ee5\u5462\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if money could help us attain heaven and even higher realms?
\u5982\u679c\u2fa6\u94b1\u53ef\u4ee5\u5e2e\u52a9\u6211\u4eec\u5230\u8fbe\u5929\u5802\u751a\u2f84\u66f4\u2fbc\u7684\u5883\u754c\u5462\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“One who is unattached to the fruits of his work and who works as he is obligated is [a renunciant], and he is the true mystic, not he who lights no fire and performs no duty. (Bhagavad-Gita 6.1)
\u201c\u2f00\u4e2a\u4e0d\u6267\u7740\u4e8e\u4ed6\u7684\u2f2f\u4f5c\u6210\u679c\u5e76\u5c65\u2f8f\u4ed6\u5e94\u5c3d\u4e49\u52a1\u7684\u2f08\u662f\u2f00\u4e2a\u5f03\u7edd\u8005\uff0c\u662f\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u795e\u79d8\u4e3b\u4e49\u8005\uff0c\u2f7d\u4e0d\u662f\u2f00\u4e2a\u4e0d\u2f63\u70df\u2f55\u3001\u4e0d\u5c3d\u804c\u8d23\u7684\u2f08\u3002(\u300a\u535a\u4f3d\u68b5\u6b4c\u300b6.1)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Here Krishna reverses everything we have heard about spiritual renunciants and their quest to renounce the world. We think of them as ascetics living in caves or forests, spending all their time in sedentary meditation.
\u5728\u8fd9\u2fa5\uff0c\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u98a0\u5012\u4e86\u6211\u4eec\u6240\u542c\u5230\u7684\u5173\u4e8e\u7075\u6027\u5f03\u7edd\u8005\u548c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5bfb\u6c42\u653e\u5f03\u4e16\u754c\u7684\u2f00\u5207\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u8ba4\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u4f4f\u5728\u6d1e\u2f73\u6216\u68ee\u6797\u2fa5\u7684\u82e6\u2f8f\u50e7\uff0c\u6240\u6709\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\u90fd\u82b1\u5728\u9759\u5750\u51a5\u60f3\u4e0a\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arjuna had the same thought. He would avoid the war by living in the forest\u00a0 as a monk and beggar. By renunciation, in other words.
\u963f\u5c14\u8bf8\u90a3\u4e5f\u6709\u540c\u6837\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5\u3002\u4ed6\u4f1a\u4ee5\u50e7\u4fa3\u548c\u4e5e\u4e10\u7684\u2f9d\u4efd\u2f63\u6d3b\u5728\u68ee\u6797\u2fa5\u4ee5\u8eb2\u907f\u6218\u4e89\u3002\u6362\u53e5\u8bdd\u8bf4\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u5f03\u7edd\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Krishna says no.
\u4f46\u662f\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u8bf4\u4e0d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In one sense, of course, Krishna does encourage Arjuna to take up a life of renunciation, but not in the way Arjuna thinks. Or the way we think too.
\u5f53\u7136\uff0c\u4ece\u67d0\u79cd\u610f\u4e49\u4e0a\u6765\u8bf4\uff0c\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u786e\u5b9e\u2fce\u52b1\u963f\u5c14\u8bf8\u90a3\u8fc7\u2f00\u79cd\u5f03\u7edd\u7684\u2f63\u6d3b\uff0c\u4f46\u4e0d\u662f\u4ee5\u963f\u5c14\u8bf8\u90a3\u6240\u60f3\u7684\u2f45\u5f0f\u3002\u6216\u8005\u6211\u4eec\u8ba4\u4e3a\u7684\u2f45\u5f0f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight, Krishna tells Arjuna. Work as you should but not to keep the fruits for yourself.
\u6218\u2f43\uff0c\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u544a\u8bc9\u963f\u5c14\u8bf8\u90a3\u3002\u505a\u4f60\u5e94\u8be5\u505a\u7684\u2f2f\u4f5c\uff0c\u4f46\u4e0d\u8981\u628a\u6210\u679c\u7559\u7ed9\u2f83\u2f30\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now most of us work to reap fruit in the form of money. And who will enjoy this fruit? Why, we ourselves, of course. Who else?
\u73b0\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u2f24\u591a\u6570\u2f08\u2f2f\u4f5c\u662f\u4e3a\u4e86\u6536\u83b7\u2fa6\u94b1\u5f62\u5f0f\u7684\u679c\u5b9e\u3002\u8c01\u4f1a\u559c\u6b22\u8fd9\u79cd\u679c\u5b9e\u5462\uff1f\u5f53\u7136\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u2f83\u2f30\u3002\u8fd8\u80fd\u6709\u8c01\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four tourists on the Titan were trying to enjoy the fruits of their work when they paid a total of a\u00a0 million dollars to see a shipwreck. And what did they get for it?
\u201c\u6cf0\u5766\u201d\u53f7\u4e0a\u7684\u56db\u540d\u6e38\u5ba2\u5728\u8bd5\u56fe\u4eab\u53d7\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u2f2f\u4f5c\u6210\u679c\u65f6\uff0c\u2f40\u4ed8\u4e86\u603b\u5171 100 \u4e07\u7f8e\u5143\u53bb\u770b\u2f00\u8258\u6c89\u8239\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u5f97\u5230\u4e86\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did it improve their lives? Hardly. Did it improve their deaths? Hard to say, but it seems unlikely.
\u8fd9\u6539\u5584\u4e86\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u2f63\u6d3b\u5417\uff1f\u2f0f\u4e4e\u6ca1\u6709\u3002\u8fd9\u6539\u5584\u4e86\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u6b7b\u4ea1\u5417\uff1f\u5f88\u96be\u8bf4\uff0c\u4f46\u4f3c\u4e4e\u4e0d\u592a\u53ef\u80fd\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did I say, \u201cimprove their deaths\u201d? How can death be improved?
\u6211\u8bf4\u4e86\u201c\u6539\u5584\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u6b7b\u4ea1\u201d\u5417\uff1f\u6b7b\u4ea1\u600e\u4e48\u6539\u5584\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, what does death mean if not transiting to a new body and a new realm? So improving death means a better body and a better destination.
\u5982\u679c\u6ca1\u6709\u8fc7\u6e21\u5230\u2f00\u4e2a\u65b0\u7684\u2f9d\u4f53\u548c\u65b0\u7684\u9886\u57df\uff0c\u6b7b\u4ea1\u610f\u5473\u7740\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u6240\u4ee5\u6539\u5584\u6b7b\u4ea1\u610f\u5473\u7740\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u2f9d\u4f53\u548c\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u2f6c\u7684\u5730\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All right. But we\u2019re talking about money.\u00a0 How does money fit in with a better death? It comes down to how you use the money during your lifetime. Let\u2019s go back to the verse about renunciation:
\u597d\u5427\u3002\u4f46\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u8c08\u7684\u662f\u94b1\u3002\u94b1\u548c\u2f00\u4e2a\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u6b7b\u4ea1\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u5173\u7cfb\u5462\uff1f\u8fd9\u53d6\u51b3\u4e8e\u4f60\u5728\u6709\u2f63\u4e4b\u5e74\u5982\u4f55\u4f7f\u2f64\u8fd9\u7b14\u94b1\u3002\u8ba9\u6211\u4eec\u56de\u5230\u5173\u4e8e\u5f03\u7edd\u7684\u8bd7\u8282\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2f00\u4e2a\u4e0d\u6267\u7740\u4e8e\u4ed6\u7684\u2f2f\u4f5c\u6210\u679c\u5e76\u5c65\u2f8f\u4ed6\u5e94\u5c3d\u4e49\u52a1\u7684\u2f08\u662f\u2f00\u4e2a\u5f03\u7edd\u8005\uff0c\u662f\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u795e\u79d8\u4e3b\u4e49\u8005\uff0c\u2f7d\u4e0d\u662f\u2f00\u4e2a\u4e0d\u2f63\u70df\u2f55\u3001\u4e0d\u5c3d\u804c\u8d23\u7684\u2f08\u3002(\u300a\u535a\u4f3d\u68b5\u6b4c\u300b6.1)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Krishna recommends here that instead of using our money to visit shipwrecks, we should use it to broadcast spiritual knowledge for the benefit of all humanity. A simple idea.
\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u5728\u6b64\u5efa\u8bae\uff0c\u4e0e\u5176\u2f64\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u94b1\u53bb\u53c2\u89c2\u6c89\u8239\uff0c\u4e0d\u5982\u2f64\u5b83\u6765\u4f20\u64ad\u7075\u6027\u77e5\u8bc6\uff0c\u9020\u798f\u5168\u2f08\u7c7b\u3002\u2f00\u4e2a\u7b80\u5355\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Krishna\u2019s followers, therefore use as much of their money as they can to publish books about Krishna, to put on public festivals showing the joy of Krishna Consciousness, and to open temples and centers.
\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u7684\u8ffd\u968f\u8005\u5c3d\u53ef\u80fd\u591a\u5730\u2f64\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u94b1\u6765\u51fa\u7248\u5173\u4e8e\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u7684\u4e66\u7c4d\uff0c\u4e3e\u529e\u516c\u5f00\u7684\u8282\u2f47\u6765\u5c55\u2f70\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u77e5\u89c9\u7684\u5feb\u4e50\uff0c\u5e76\u5f00\u8bbe\u5e99\u5b87\u548c\u4e2d\u2f3c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what do they get for it? A free trip to the Titanic?
\u4ed6\u4eec\u5f97\u5230\u4e86\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u5230\u6cf0\u5766\u5c3c\u514b\u53f7\u7684\u514d\u8d39\u65c5\u2f8f\u5417\uff1f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This life of renunciation takes them to a better realm and a better body, ultimately to an eternal spiritual body in Krishna\u2019s eternal abode.
\u8fd9\u79cd\u5f03\u7edd\u7684\u2f63\u6d3b\u5c06\u4ed6\u4eec\u5e26\u5230\u2f00\u4e2a\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u5883\u754c\u548c\u2f00\u4e2a\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u2f9d\u4f53\uff0c\u6700\u7ec8\u5230\u8fbe\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\u6c38\u6052\u5c45\u6240\u4e2d\u7684\u6c38\u6052\u7075\u6027\u2f9d\u4f53\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By dedicating their money\u2014and with it their lives\u2014to Krishna they assure themselves of the best thought at the time of death. Srila\u00a0 Prabhupada writes:
\u901a\u8fc7\u628a\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u94b1\u2014\u2014\u4ee5\u53ca\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u2f63\u6d3b\u2014\u2014\u5949\u732e\u7ed9\u594e\u5e08\u90a3\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u786e\u4fdd\u2f83\u2f30\u5728\u6b7b\u4ea1\u65f6\u6709\u6700\u597d\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5\u3002\u65bd\u745e\u62c9\u00b7\u5e15\u5e03\u5e15\u5fb7\u5199\u9053\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“When a living entity is accustomed to think of a particular subject matter or become absorbed in a certain type of thought, he will think of that subject at the time of death. At the time of death, one will think of the subject that has occupied his life while he was awake, lightly sleeping or dreaming, or while he was deeply sleeping. (Srimad Bhagavatam 4.28.28)
\u2f63\u7269\u2f00\u65e6\u4e60\u60ef\u4e8e\u60f3\u67d0\u4e2a\u7279\u5b9a\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\u6216\u5168\u795e\u8d2f\u6ce8\u4e8e\u67d0\u79cd\u601d\u7ef4\u4e2d\uff0c\u5c31\u4f1a\u5728\u6b7b\u4ea1\u65f6\u60f3\u5230\u90a3\u4e3b\u9898\u3002\u6b7b\u4ea1\u65f6\uff0c\u2f08\u4f1a\u60f3\u5230\u4ed6\u5728\u9192\u7740\u3001\u6d45\u7761\u3001\u505a\u68a6\u3001\u6216\u6df1\u7761\u65f6\uff0c\u5360\u636e\u4ed6\u2f63\u547d\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\u3002(\u300a\u5723\u5178\u535a\u4f3d\u2f61\u8c2d\u300b4.28.28)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
